About Me People say I'm: a good friend, a glass-half-full kind of gal, I enjoy interesting discussions and "solving the world's problems" over coffee, creative, fun to be around, a dreamer....and I'm not the only one...wanna join me? Describe Yourself: I am an easy-going, fun-loving woman who loves to meet new people, share experiences, and just have a great time laughing. I recently moved to the Boston area, so I'm getting acclimated to the urban life. So far, I like it...that is, when I can find my way around. On Gather, I'm Looking For ...: friends, conversation, shared interests, and an opportunity to learn from others Interests Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: Moody Blues, Yes, and Styx....throw in some new age to relax and some world music to dance. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: Da Vinci Code (I like all of Dan Brown's books, but I'm getting tired of his "formula." I hope the next one will be different., I enjoy reading anything that keeps me guessing without dragging me through blood and gore.) I also read a lot of nonfiction because I love to learn., Nicholas Sparks, Andrew Greeley, Dan Brown Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: I like drama, chic flicks, and good suspense (like Sneakers) without the violence (seeing a trend?), I love What the Bleep Do We Know! and have just starting watching Down the Rabbit Hole in segments. It's really making me think. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: Survivor, dance shows, Treasure Hunters, Gilmore Girls, You've Got Color, Men in Trees, Grey's Anatomy, Pushing Daisies Interests and Activities: Spirituality -- I'm always open to learning more. I'm open to all beliefs. I think we all have a piece of the puzzle of life. I am enjoying reading some of Neale Donald Walsch's books. While I can't buy into everything he writes, I appreciate the opportunity to think about the possibilities., I love to create -- with words, paper, paint, magazine clippings...just about anything I can get my hands on., paper arts, journal writing, fictional writing (mostly in November for NaNoWriMo), gardening, and I've just fell into an addiction of knitting on a loom.
